Throughout my time at UT, I have been a member of a number of organizations and extracurricular activities that helped me both to pursue my several different passions and interests. For example, I danced and choreographed for four years with Nritya Sangam Classical Indian Dance Troupe, allowing me to keep in touch with my roots and with a dance style I have been learning for the past 15 years. I was also the Vice President of Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc., for which I was in charge of organizing philanthropy weeks each semester and service events throughout the year. In addition, for several semesters I wrote for The Daily Texan, the student newspaper for UT, where I wrote a number of stories covering a variety of different events around campus. I hope to be able to use these skills, as well as everything I have learned at UT in the future.
